We have an exciting new opportunity for a candidate that enjoys working in Finance & Accounting. We are searching for an Accountant to join our team in Baku, and, in this role, you will assist in the development and continued maintenance of the Company's financial reporting systems and internal reporting utilities and close process. You will review and monitor financial transactions, addressing questions from colleagues, management, and other internal customers. In addition, you will coordinate financial report preparation and analysis for actual, budget and forecast data, interacting at the same time with other departments and other business units to resolve issues.


This position will focus on assisting to strengthen our current internal reporting to ensure the department is positioned to manage increased demands in a dynamic growth - oriented environment.



Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collect Jobs Packages (supporting documents) from PLs, Scan and send it to WSC Team (In Bangalore, India) for booking.
  • Review billing accuracy with the customers contracts/POs and send for final review and approval by PL.
  • Submit the invoice to the customers on timely basis.
  • Maintain Invoices register and proper archive for all invoices and supporting documents for any future audits or tax inspections.
  • Creating routing approval for credit notes if any deduction.
  • Follow-up and coordinate with PL to clear Unbilled on regular basis.
  • Close open DTs as per policy.
  • Ad-hoc Entries for Revenue Reclass.
  • Deferred Revenue Transactions wherever required as per policy.
  • Register invoices on the government tax portal.
  • Reconciliation of AOA vs advance payments CIA (Local Customers). Follow up on the owed balance.
  • Follow-up with IC Sales invoices. (Export)
  • Collaborate and assist to Finance department. 
  • Full compliance to the company policies and procedures for all financial transactions.


  • Previous experience working in Finance/Accounting in a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with a major in accounting.
  • Knowledge and experience of technical accounting, policy and/or financial reporting.
  • Understanding of mathematics, accounting and financial processes.
  • Strong communication skills in Azerbaijani and English.
  • Previous experience in working with an ERP system.
  • Strong organizational skills and ethical behaviour.
